Read on for an insider's look at the powerful equipment we use to achieve such great results:
Hot Water Extraction Machine
The Jaguar 6.6 Carpet Cleaning Machine is the most powerful portable on the market, it has two 8.4 vacuum motors, an 800PSI pump and is capable of running up to 200 Metres of vacuum Hose and Solution giving us the ability to clean the largest properties. Some professionals use carpet steam cleaning and hot water extraction interchangeably, for us it’s hot water extraction.
CRB Mechanical Agitation Machine
The Prochem FibreDri TM3 System serves a multipurpose, it’s perfect for dry cleaning carpets and stairs, and dry soil removal. With interchangeable brushes, renovator trays and it’s compact counter rotating design make it the go-to tool for any carpet cleaning professional.
VLM Hand Tool
Our Rotovac ShearDry hand tool is revolutionary in the specialist cleaning market. It provides effortless cleaning to spots and stains, avoids over wetting and over spraying and utilises minimal water to leave fabrics virtually dry. With an in closed straight vacuum bar, PSI gauge and clear design we see dirt being removed as it happens. Oh boy it’s satisfying.
Air Movers
In the industry, we call them ‘snails’ see the resemblance? But despite what we call them, The B-Power Polar Air Mover is perfect for speed drying, water damage restoration, and is utilised to prevent unwanted odours caused by damp conditions, such as damp and mildew.
Hand Groomers
We can’t rely on modern technology the whole time, we work up a sweat by using hand held brushes and groomers to groom and agitate fine fabrics and reset piles and napping after your deep clean.
Chemical Solutions
We only use top of the range, environmentally friendly, pet safe, tested certified, directly from our trusted reputable specialist supplier Njord Chemicals
Carpeted areas prone to soiling
At Couplet & Barnes we know the usual suspects. Soiling does happen across an entire wall-to-wall carpet. However, there are areas that get dirty easier and to name a few.
Stairs: especially the bottom three steps!
Thresholds: Carpeted areas near thresholds of entrances to other rooms attract a whole lot of dirt and soiling.
In front of upholstery: The spot in-front of your favourite seat is notorious for visual soiling
Stain Removal Equipment:
Water Claw
The water claw effectively flushes contaminants out of effect areas, whilst providing a seal which makes it very efficient at spot cleaning. It attaches to our hot water extraction machine. And is necessary for removing all manner of staining issues.
Tamping Brush
Do not scrub stains. Tamping is hitting the stain causing it to 'upwick', allowing blotting of the stain, getting transfer in a controlled technique, preventing spreading.
UV Lighting
Wave lengths in the backlight of UV allow detection of phosphorus and proteins to glow, making them easy to spot. In the case of urine, it’s essential to remove every spot.
Perforator
Chewing gum, gloss, paint needs to be emulsified to be completely removed, we perforate to ensure chemicals can break these down.
Re-Stretching Tools
Once removing carpets from gripper rods, and the clean has commenced, we utilise tools to re-fit your carpet back into its normal position.
